Teachers and caregivers play a vital role in educating, protecting, and nurturing children, yet their work often takes a significant mental and physical toll. Despite their importance, childcare providers are frequently underpaid, overworked, and lack access to the medical and mental health care they deserve.We believe that the well-being of caregivers is directly tied to the well-being and future of the children they serve. By sponsoring a teacher or caregiver, you help provide essential resources such as health insurance, nutritional support, and access to clean drinking water. You can still make an impact by contributing any amount, starting at just $1 per month. Every donation helps provide much-needed support to these dedicated individuals.

We understand that many of our volunteers also have a spirit of exploration and adventure. We’re proud to offer travel experiences for those who wish to immerse themselves further in the beauty and diversity of Kenya, beyond their volunteer placement. We partner with Kenyan-owned and operated travel companies, with a focus on those owned by women and queer individuals, to uplift and support their businesses. Travel opportunities include city excursions, beach getaways, and safari adventures, among others. As one of the world’s top travel destinations, Kenya offers a wealth of cultural and natural wonders, providing our volunteers with unforgettable experiences that complement their time giving back.

With no family to rely on and no government protection, many are driven to despair, with some tragically seeing no alternative but suicide. Our sponsors play a crucial role in changing these lives. Your support helps cover school fees for LGBT individuals rejected by their families, provides assistance with rent, supplements food, and ensures access to medical care. These contributions are not just financial—they are a lifeline, offering hope and dignity to those in need. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. In neighboring countries, LGBT individuals face even more extreme persecution. In Uganda, for example, the government has legalized the death penalty for those born LGBT, forcing many to flee in search of safety. These individuals often escape murder attempts by their own families and endure relentless physical and psychological violence from their governments and communities. Many of these refugees find themselves in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya, only to face continued violence, discrimination, and a lack of support from the Kenyan government. They live in dire, unimaginable conditions, fearing for their lives every day. Financial support from donors is their only lifeline, helping them access essential medical care, food, and clean water. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a tangible difference in their survival and well-being. Together, we can provide hope and support to those who need it most.
